As the semester winds down, we are so excited for our upcoming Christmas Break! Our students and staff have worked incredibly hard this semester, and we canβt wait for everyone to enjoy a well-deserved rest and time with family.
Please make note of the schedule for our last day of school before the break, Thursday, December 19th. This will be a 60% day with an early dismissal. Buses will begin loading promptly at 11:45 AM, so please plan for this change in your afternoon routine. Also, please remember that no breakfast will be served on this day.
We truly hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday season. We are wishing every one of our families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We look forward to welcoming our students back, refreshed and ready to learn, on Tuesday, January 6th.

From reviewing key facts about our capital to discussing important state symbols, the students had a blast learning while celebrating. The best part? Birthday treats, of course! Itβs amazing what a little cookie cake can do to make history come alive.
We love learning about the Magnolia State! π

Mrs. Doyle's 3rd grade math students are diving into area this unit! Students were given different shapes and challenged to build them using various sizes of unit squares. After creating their shapes, they counted the unit squares to determine the area.
We loved seeing their hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and βaha!β moments as they discovered how area changes with different units. So proud of their hard work and growing math skills! ππ

Our 5th graders had a delicious hands-on lesson as they used Oreos to model the phases of the moon! πππ
Students learned how the moon appears to change shape as it orbits Earth, then created each phase by carefully carving the cream from their cookies. πͺπ
Learning is always sweeter when you can snack on it afterward! ππ
